DESCRIPTION:Budja Budja invites community to come together during Ochre Ribbon Week. \nDate: Tuesday 17 February 2026Time: 11:30 am – 2:00 pmLocation: Budja Budja\, Halls Gap \nOchre Ribbon Week is held each February to raise awareness about the impact of family and domestic violence on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. \nThis event provides a space for community to connect\, reflect\, and support one another while promoting safety\, respect and self-determination. \nOn the day\, participants are invited to enjoy a free lunch\, hear from a guest speaker and take part in a creative activity. \nCommunity members will have the opportunity to paint an ochre pot and plant a flower to take home or gift\, as a symbol of care\, awareness\, and support. \nEveryone is welcome to attend.
