Budja has a vacancy for a General Practitioner – available of an ongoing employment or contract basis, on a permanent basis.
The position involves working 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday only, with no weekend, after hours or hospital work.
An attractive employment contract is negotiable, including salary and all benefits, including maximum salary packaging allowances, an additional one week paid professional development leave, a quality 3 bedroom house and car fuel allowance. For employees, professional indemnity insurance is covered by Budja’s policies with Victorian government’s VMIA.
Support is provided by our 5 Registered Nurses, and other professional staff and a range of outreach service providers covering optometry, audiology, diabetes educator, dietitian, exercise physiologist, podiatrist. We have our own qualified psychologist on staff supported by clinical psychologists from Deakin University.
The clinic is located in the scenic Grampians National Park in Western Victoria and services our Aboriginal Community as well as local residents, including from Ararat and Stawell, and visitors to the National Park.
The clinic has undergone a recent full renovation and extension and provides a contemporary layout and all modern medical facilities and equipment.
