Stawell Regional Health offers a diverse range of integrated and related health services with a modern hospital with a 29-bed ward hospital and 6 day surgery beds.
It also has a birthing suite, operating theatres and an accident and emergency department. Support services include a medical imaging department, pharmacy department and pathology provided by St John of God.

Grampians Community Health
Grampians Community Health has a number of facilities across Stawell, Ararat and Horsham.
It provides a range of services on a referral basis including Youth, Community Care Teams, Carer’s Respite, Community Development Team, Community Psychiatric Team, Gambling and Drug and Family Violence.

East Grampians Health Service, Ararat
East Grampians Health Service (EGHS) provides an extensive range of acute, residential, home and community based services. Located at both Ararat and Willaura, these services operate throughout Ararat Rural City.
Services provided at EGHS are divided into three main groups:
These are services that the public access for short term health care needs, for example, an operation or treatment of an acute illness that requires a short hospital stay.
Aged Care Residential Services
EGHS provides quality care for older people who require high level care (nursing home) or low level care (hostel) in spacious modern accommodation.
These are services that the public may access at any time for a short period i.e. physiotherapy. Some of these services are provided in your home for example: District Nursing.
