Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Case Manager

Location: Ararat VIC 3377 Halls Gap VIC 3381
Salary: $80 000 - $110 000

Overview

The AOD Case Manager provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people directly or indirectly affected by alcohol, and other drugs, with a focus on improving health outcomes. You will be responsible for developing strategies and advocating with mainstream services to assist in setting goals; initiate, and maintain change, and provide community education regarding alcohol, and other drugs.

The role is based at both Halls Gap and Ararat, with regular travel between both sites as required by service needs.

About you

You will have knowledge and understanding of AOD health and wellbeing issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people; experience in the delivery of culturally safe AOD services and an ability to communicate and advocate effectively with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

Qualifications and experience in AOD is essential.
